COFFEE MORNING

Our autumn coffee morning was, as usual full of fun, friendship, food and fundraising together with singing from The Ringtones and a brain teaser quiz devised by Pam!

The tombola and raffle were well stocked as usual with donations, including 2 from Rainworth Cooperative Funeral Directors, who support our u3a by displaying posters, thank you to everyone who donated and purchased, the stall volunteers and those on the door.
The bookstall and jigsaw table were also open for business.

The Ringtones sang seasonal songs with visual aids for the audience, mobile written lyrics of “On Ilkley Moor Bah Tat” for joining in and moustaches for the singers performing “The Gendarmes Duet”
Thanks to Ian and the singers for top class entertainment as usual.

“Cakes by Ann” were swiftly devoured along with hot drinks from the refreshment volunteers.

We also celebrated Andrew Goodison’s 80th birthday with a surprise cake and sherry supplied by Susan, his wife.

Thanks you to Councillor Tom Smith who made time to join us during the morning.
